SCHEDULED WORK NOTICE – Railroad Tie Replacement Project, West Trenton Line
WHAT: SEPTA will complete a railroad tie replacement project along the West Trenton Regional Rail Line. Crews will begin at Jenkintown-Wyncote Station and will work their way toward Neshaminy Falls Station. Crews will also trim trees. Work will mainly take place along the track right-of-way, but crews will be using the northbound layoff track at Jenkintown-Wyncote Station to store track equipment each night.
WHEN: Customers and residents will see prep work for this project begin the week of March 2, 2020. Daytime work will begin on March 9, 2020. The anticipated project duration is 4 months.
SEPTA crews will work in the daytime Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
There will also be occasional nighttime and weekend work as needed. Nighttime work hours will be from 11:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Weekend work hours will be 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturdays.
Noise will be moderate to high at times. Lighting may be bright.
