Montgomery County Special Collection Schedules 2020

Each year, the Montgomery County Commissioners authorize free events to prevent hazardous materials from being improperly disposed of. Tire Collection Events for Montgomery County Residents 
Beginning on Saturday May 9th in Blue Bell PA, Montgomery County will be hosting three tire collection events across the county, in hopes to prevent tires from being improperly disposed of and to reduce breeding grounds for disease carrying mosquitoes. The tires that are collected will be shredded and re-purposed by a local business into products for civil engineering and playground material. Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events for Montgomery County Residents
Beginning on Saturday April 25th at Boyertown Middle School East, Montgomery County will be hosting the first of seven Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events across Montgomery County. It is the intent of the County to reduce the hazardous waste pollution and promote safe disposal and recycling. These events, held outdoors from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM allow residents to safely dispose of any hazardous materials such as paint products, automotive products and household products.
