Jenkintown Borough has been notified by the Borough’s contracted trash hauler, Republic Services, curbside trash/recycling collection will continue, as scheduled, every Friday.  Republic Services has requested that all trash continue to be placed at the curb in tightly sealed plastic bags or tightly sealed metal or plastic containers with lids to ensure the safety of their workers.

Jenkintown Borough Public Works will continue yard waste collection every Tuesday and collection from Public trash receptacles (York Road, West Ave. and Town Square) on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
The Special/Bulk pick up program has been temporarily suspended due to the closing of the bulk item acceptance location and for the safety of the Public Works employees. As soon as this program can be safely reinstated notification will be made.

If you have any concerns please call the Borough Hall office at 215-885-0700, if your concern pertains to trash please call as early in the day as possible while the Waste collectors are still present in town.

Our Public Works Department is performing essential duties, supporting all other Borough Departments and responding to emergencies.
