“Under the current state of emergency declared by the Federal, State, County and Borough Governments and to abide by the ‘Stay at Home Order’ issued by Governor Wolf, we feel that this tax deadline extension is in the best interest of all of our Borough residents and businesses. We also acknowledge that although this will put additional strain on the Borough budget that has already begun to be stressed by the current emergency, we feel this action addresses a critical need that will offer a measure of support to all.” – Borough Council
