As a reminder to residents, trash and recycling will be postponed one day due to the New Years holiday. Trash and recycling is normally picked up in the Borough on Fridays however during the week of New Years, trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday, January 4th. 

Trash and Recycling will return to its normal Friday collection schedule on January 10th, 2020.

Holiday Tree Collection will occur on all Tuesdays in January. Holiday trees may be disposed of with normal lawn & leaf curbside pickup and will be collected each Tuesday on the following consecutive Tuesdays; January 7th, January 14th, January 21st and January 28th.
Trees must be placed on the curb and this collection will only apply to real trees.Trees should not be placed in a tree bag. Please be sure to remove all lights tinsel, beads and ornaments so that the process of turning the trees in to usable mulch will not be negatively affected.

Regularly scheduled lawn & leaf debris curbside pickup will continue every Tuesday weather permitting.

Additionally, Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st in observance of New Years. The Borough will re-open at 8:00 AM on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020.
