AQUA’s sub contractor, Caddick Utilities, will continue the second phase of the excavation and watermain installation Wednesday, September 18, 2019.  Vernon Road will be closed to “thru traffic” from Clement Road to Rydal Road and Newbold Road will be closed from Rydal Road to Clement Road from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM to allow for the roadway to be excavated and the new watermain to be safely installed.  Flaggers will be on site to help control the flow of traffic during this process and residents will continue to have access to their properties. If you do not reside on one of these streets please plan to take another route during these times to avoid disruption to your travels

The excavation and placement of the watermain is now taking place. The installation of the individual water services to customers will follow once the installation of the watermains have been completed. Any road opening will be backfilled daily or safety plated and opened to traffic. The trench will have temporary restoration at the end of each work day.
