Tuesday, August 27 “EAC Block Party” Greenwood Avenue/Town Square

Reminder Not to Miss the Final Jenkintown Environmental Advisory Committee Block Party Event of the Summer 

This Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at 6:30 PM the Jenkintown Environmental Advisory Committee will host their final, exciting and informative block party exhibit of 2019. This is an ALL ages event and will feature fun activities for the entire family.  PDC Machines of Warminster will demonstrate a hydrogen vehicle on Greenwood Avenue in front of the Pioneer Fire House (across from Town Square). Only four (4) gallons of water was used to generate enough hydrogen for this vehicle to drive 360 miles and it’s only emission was water”. Also, “Response to Climate Change / Renewable Energy Transition” with Adrienne Redd and Marc Brier. An insightful and educational discussion on Renewable Energy transition. Representatives from the Office of State Senator Art Haywood, serving the 4th Senatorial District will be on hand to offer a variety of legislative materials, information on constituent services, outreach events, and FREE books for children.

Greenwood Avenue will be closed to vehicles from Leedom Street to the municipal parking lot entrance from 6:30 to 9:00 PM to make room for the festivities
