Due to the inclement weather from Tropical Storm Michael, tonight’s (Thursday, October 11th) Fire Prevention event will be moved indoors to both Independent Fire Company and Pioneer Fire Company from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Stop, drop and roll your way over to visit each house for a great opportunity to teach both adults and kids about fire prevention, a chance to discuss and ask any questions regarding fire safety and prevention as well as an opportunity to to meet and say thanks to our volunteers who work so hard for our community.

Independent Fire Company is located at 609 Greenwood Avenue between Leedom Street and Cedar Street. Pioneer Fire Company is located at 700 Greenwood Avenue, on the corner of Leedom Street and Greenwood Avenue.
