The annual Memorial Day Parade for Jenkintown Borough will be held by the McKeown-Zane VFW Post No. 1711 on May 28th, 2018. Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 602 West Avenue, beginning at 9:00 AM. Breakfast will be then be offered at the VFW located at 204 Leedom Street following mass.

The Memorial Day parade will begin at 10:30 AM in front of the Jenkintown School District located at Highland and West Avenues. The parade will continue north up West Avenue towards Leedom Street and Borough Hall. A short ceremony will then be held at 1:00 PM in front of the VFW. There will be refreshments served after the ceremony and parade. We hope to see everyone there!

The Borough would like to take this time to point out that the World War I Monument located in front of Borough Hall, across the street from the VFW, was just recently restored in conjunction with the Old York Road Historical Society for the 100 year anniversary of the monument. Please feel free to walk over to view the refinished monument where it will proudly stand the test of time for another 100 years.
