The 2018 Recreation Board season finally begins this weekend with the egg-citing annual Jenkintown Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31 at 10 AM at the School Playground!

Children ages 4+ will begin their hunt around the Playground area starting at 10:15 AM, while the 3 and under children will have a separate hunt in the Baseball field at 10:20 AM.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BAG OR BASKET!!!!

But, that’s not the end of the fun! The All Ages Egg Toss will commence in the field after the hunts are complete. Winners will receive Hiway Theater Tickets and the satisfaction of demonstrating superior egg-handling dexterity.

Also, look out for a special guest appearance by a giant, bipedal Bunny!

New this year, coffee and light refreshments will be available to purchase a la cart from the White Horse Coffee & Creamery truck (to be parked on Florence Ave., near the Playground entrance).
