Stay local this Sunday for the 19th Annual Jenkintown Festival of the Arts from 1-6 pm in Town Square extending to West and Johnson. This fun and free event will feature a juried art show, one stage of live music, plenty of food options, as well as a single serve brew tent where Neshaminy Creek will be pouring.
The Borough will begin street cleaning in Town Square at 7:00 AM tomorrow, Saturday September 16th. Please note that there will be no parking on the Fest Route during the cleaning. This includes:
- West Avenue from York Road to Leedom Street
- Leedom Street from West Avenue to Summit Avenue
- Greenwood Avenue from Cedar Street to York Road
- Johnson Street from West Avenue to Cherry Street
On Sunday September 17th, the following roads will be closed beginning at 9:00 AM however, cars must be removed before 7:00 AM. Please note all cars must be removed from these streets and no access will be given to residents until the fest is complete.
- West Avenue from York Road to Leedom Street
- Leedom Street from West Avenue to Summit Avenue
- Greenwood Avenue from Cedar Street to York Road
- Johnson Street from West Avenue to Cherry Street
- Greenwood Avenue Parking Lot (next to Pioneer Fire Company / VFW)
- Leedom Street Lot (on the corner of Leedom Avenue and Greenwood Avenue in Town Square)
