This week’s penultimate Summer Music Series concert is a double-header debut of two new homegrown bands. First up is a currently unnamed three-piece band led by Basil Khan on guitar and vocals, Jamail Khan on drums, and Ben Farr on bass. They are sure to entertain with a set of all original songs, written by Basil himself! Immediately following will be the debut of Camera Thief, featuring Pasquale DeFazio, Brendan Duffey, Robert DeFazio, Joe Hartnett, and Joe Duffey. This five-piece alt-rock band will also be performing all original music and is one of the most anticipated shows of the summer. You don’t want to miss it!As usual, the Recreation Board will be providing ice pops and water to keep you hydrated all evening long (please bring your own water bottle or cup, if at all possible, to help reduce trash in the square). The board is also looking for volunteers to help us organize and run events like the Summer Music Series. A sign-up form to receive more information will be available by the ice pops.
