Tomorrow morning in Town Square, at 9 a.m., Jenkintown Rec Board and photojournalist/borough resident Jon Adams will host a “get to know your borough and get to know your camera” event.

Using a list of clues, participants will search for many of the wonderful photographic subjects that make our borough fun, unique, kitschy and historic. After checking off as many items as possible, join your fellow scavengers at 12:30 p.m. at Drake Tavern to swap stories and compare photos.

During the following week, you will be invited to post your best photos on the “Photograph Jenkintown” group’s Facebook page. Then on Saturday, June 17, 1:00 p.m. at Upper Crust Pizza, the “Supreme Scavenger” trophy will be awarded to the overall winner, along with gift cards for runners up from Art of Framing, Upper Crust, and This Little Gallery.
