The Jenkintown Environmental Advisory Committee will host a free talk by Ruth Pfeffer (www.birdingwithruth.com) this Wednesday April 19 at 7 pm at Jenkintown Borough Hall 700 Summit Avenue. Learn more about how native plants create habitat and birds of the Pennypack Watershed. (This will take the place of the regular third Wednesday meeting of the JEAC).
There will be a bird walk in Jenkintown on Saturday April 29 with hosts at four locations in the Borough to watch birds and learn how to locally to support habitat for birds. This event is organized in collaboration with the Wyncote Audubon Society and the Briar Bush Nature Center.

The next regular meeting of the Jenkintown Environmental Advisory Committee will be Wednesday May 17th at 7 pm. On the agenda will be additional community input into green space in Jenkintown.
