Borough Hall will be closed Friday, July 4, 2014 in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen Monday, July 7, 2014 at 8:00 am.

In observance of Independence Day, trash and recycling will be collected Saturday, July 5th. Residents are reminded to have all items for collection out by 7:00 a.m. in order to ensure collection.

To celebrate next Monday’s long-awaited reopening of the Greenwood Ave. Bridge, Jenkintown and Cheltenham are presenting a “Greenwood Ave. Bridge Un-Block Party” on Sunday, June 29, 1 – 5 p.m. to be held at Ralph Morgan Park, behind the SEPTA station. Residents are invited to bring their own food and lawn games, and enjoy live instrumental R&B music in the park, courtesy of the band “Grease Monks”. A food vendor will also be onsite for purchases.
The southbound right hand lane on York Road (PA Route 611) in Jenkintown Borough will experience a lane closure during the period from Saturday, June 7 through Monday, June 9 from West Ave. to Greenwood Ave. This closure is being done for safety purposes for the rehabilitation project occurring at 301-305 York Road. Tonight’s Summer Music Series event scheduled on Town Square has been CANCELLED due to anticipated severe weather.
