PECO HAS COMMENCED PHASE 1 OF THE UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL UPGRADES TO YORK ROAD.

The most up to date roadwork / detour plans for the underground electrical work on York Road from PECO have been submitted and those maps will be added to this post shortly. PECO has made every effort possible to accommodate the Borough’s request to complete this work prior to the Holiday Season. This will lessen the disruption to residents, businesses and visitors during this festive and busy time. This includes working 24/7 to expedite the project and limit disruption. PECO has requested 24 hour Jenkintown Borough Police presence for the safety of the public and has agreed to reimburse Jenkintown Borough through their General Contractor on this project.
