The Borough has been notified by PECO’s subcontractor, Miller Bros. that the junction box adjustment and sidewalk repair project in the Jenkintown Borough business district will continue Wednesday, September 16th and Thursday, September 17th from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM on York Road from West to Summit Avenues. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control due to temporary lane closures along York Road. Areas affected by this work will be posted with temporary ‘no parking’ signs to allow for the work to be completed safely. Entrance to businesses will be maintained throughout this process.

The Borough has been notified by the Borough’s contracted trash hauler, Republic Services that this weeks curbside trash and recycling will be delayed one day due to the observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 7th. The Borough’s curbside trash and recycling collection will take place Saturday, September 12th instead of the regularly scheduled collection day of Friday, September 11th.
