DONATIONS ACCEPTED ON MLK DAY AT ARCADIA

Decluttering for New Year?   Do you have old electronics that you want to recycle?  How about outgrown children’s clothing and toys that you’d like to pass on?  How about books that another reader could enjoy?  Old papers that need shredding?
Arcadia University is sponsoring a Repurposing, eWaste, and donation event from 10am to 3pm on January 16, 2017 at Murphy Hall.  There will also be a shredding truck available for paper shredding.
Donations of clothing and househole items will be directed towards organizations that welcome your generosity.  For instance, gently used children’s clothing will be given to Cradles to Crayons, who in turn, helps out shelters and area organizations.
The e-waste drive will collect anything electronic or metal with the exception of televisions or CRT monitors.

See here for the full list of items that can be donated.  Volunteers will help unload the items you bring.
And while you’re at it, why not bring a can of food to donate to local food banks?
