Mayor Dobbs Declares Snow Emergency

Mayor Dobbs has declared a snow emergency in the Borough of Jenkintown beginning tonight, 12:00 AM and expiring 6:00 PM tomorrow, Thursday January 4th, 2018. Residents with a driveway are asked to please park in it.  If you do not have a driveway please park as close to the curb as possible to allow for safe passage of the Borough plow trucks. The snow accumulation forecasts vary greatly (2″ to 6″). The frigid temperatures are expected to make the roads very slippery throughout the night and in to rush hour traffic. If you must travel please take along the recommended safety gear and allow extra time to navigate the expected icy roads. The Jenkintown Police Department and Public Works Department will be fully staffed throughout the storm. Read More »
