Recreation Board
The Jenkintown Rec Board is a volunteer group, funded by the Borough, that organizes community events for Jenkintown residents. Rec Board events in the past have included the Holiday Tree Lighting, Camden Rivershark bus trips, the Not-So-Spooky Haunted Halloween, Poetry on the Square and many others. Rec Board events are a great way to get to know your neighbors and to reconnect with old friends.
The Rec Board could use your help. If you’re interested in joining the fun, contact Ed Foley at 215-260-5701 to find out how you can contribute as either a fulltime member of the Rec Board, or as a helper at one of our events.

Upcoming events at Town Square in Jenkintown:
December 20, 6:15-7:30 p.m.: Menorah Lighting in Town Square
Celebrate the Festival of Lights in Jenkintown with refreshments, the Jenkintown Elementary Mini-Singers, childrens' stories, and of course the lighting of the Menorah.
